For the third year in a row, Attorney Bruce S. Zero of Powell Law has been named to the “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” list, which represents the top 5 percent of all trial attorneys in the Commonwealth.
   The “Super Lawyer” list, which is published annually by Philadelphia Magazine, is based on polling of 36,000 lawyers throughout Pennsylvania, independent research, interviews with law firms and evaluation of nominees by a blue-ribbon panel.
   Zero, a partner in Powell Law, is an accomplished civil trial lawyer who handles personal injury, product liability and worker’s compensation cases. He has been included on the “Super Lawyers” list since 2007.
   Born in Allentown and raised in Dunmore, Zero is a graduate of Penn State and earned his law degree from Duquesne Law School, Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Lackawanna and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice, and is a past president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is board certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
   Zero is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
   He is solicitor to the Springbrook Township Board of Supervisors and Moscow Borough Council; Elder Law Project solicitor to the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging; a member of the Lackawanna County Planning Commission; and a past president of the Minisink Lions Club. He lives in the Moscow area with his wife, Carla, and their four children.
